The band’s recent halftime show, featuring an electrifying medley of Metallica hits such as “Fuel,” “One,” “Master of Puppets,” “The Unforgiven,” and “Enter Sandman,” showcased their exceptional musicality and innovative choreography. Under the direction of Frank Tracz, the Kansas State Marching Band has a rich history of excellence. In 2015, they were awarded the prestigious Sudler Trophy by the John Philip Sousa Foundation, recognizing their high musical standards and contributions to the collegiate marching band landscape . With over 400 members, the band continues to represent Kansas State University with pride and distinction.
