More than 50 years after their breakup, The Beatles have proven they still have the power to move the world. At the 2025 Grammy Awards, the band won Best Rock Performance for “Now and Then,” their final song featuring vocals by John Lennon, resurrected through cutting-edge AI technology.

Originally recorded as a rough demo by Lennon in the late 1970s, the song was shelved for decades. Using AI tools developed during the making of The Beatles: Get Back, producers were finally able to isolate Lennon’s voice and complete the track with new contributions from Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, as well as archived guitar work from the late George Harrison.

“It felt like John was with us,” Ringo Starr said after the win, his voice thick with emotion. “This was more than just a Grammy it was a reunion.”

Now and Then is being called “the last Beatles song,” and with this historic Grammy win, it becomes not only a farewell but a celebration of a legacy that refuses to fade. After all these years, The Beatles still rock.
