The de Young Museum in San Francisco has announced an extension of its popular exhibition Paul McCartney Photographs 1963–64: Eyes of the Storm, which will now run through October 5, 2025. Originally set to close in early July, the exhibition showcases over 250 rare and personal photographs taken by Sir Paul McCartney during the early days of Beatlemania.

Captured between December 1963 and February 1964, the black-and-white images offer an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at the Beatles’ meteoric rise—from the UK to their explosive arrival in the U.S. The exhibition includes candid moments, backstage snapshots, and striking views of fans, press, and American life through McCartney’s eyes.

This is the only U.S. stop on the exhibition’s international tour, making it a must-see for Beatles fans and photography enthusiasts alike.

Tickets are available on the de Young Museum’s website. Advance reservations are recommended due to high demand.
