Breaking News: Jaxon KOHLER, a guard for the Michigan State University men’s basketball team, has been named the national player of the year by athletic news.

In a historic achievement for Michigan State basketball, junior forward Jaxon Kohler has been named the National Player of the Year by Athletic News. This prestigious honor recognizes Kohler’s exceptional performance and leadership throughout the 2024–25 season, marking a significant milestone in his collegiate career.

Standing 6 feet 9 inches and weighing 245 pounds, Kohler has been a dominant force in the Big Ten Conference this season. Averaging 7.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game, he has been instrumental in Michigan State’s success, contributing significantly on both ends of the court. His consistent rebounding and defensive presence have been pivotal in the Spartans’ strong performances throughout the season.
