Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Tavien St. Clair has made national headlines off the field by donating his entire $20 million signing bonus and sponsorship earnings to charities dedicated to ending homelessness and supporting those in crisis.

St. Clair, a rising star in college football and a central figure in Ohio State’s future, announced the life-changing gift on Wednesday. “Millions of people are facing hardship every day — families without shelter, kids going hungry, veterans lacking the help they need,” he said. “I could easily be one of them. I’ve been given a platform, and I want to use it to help those who feel invisible.”

The donation will benefit a coalition of nonprofit organizations focused on providing housing, meals, healthcare, and job support to homeless individuals and families. St. Clair is reportedly working with national and local groups to ensure the funds are distributed with long-term impact in mind.

The move has been met with widespread praise. Ohio State head coach Ryan Day called it “a moment that transcends football,” adding, “Tavien is the kind of leader every program dreams of — talented, humble, and driven to make a difference.”

Already considered one of the most promising quarterbacks in the country, St. Clair’s commitment to giving back has set a powerful example for athletes everywhere. While Buckeye Nation celebrates its future on the gridiron, it’s St. Clair’s heart that’s scoring the biggest win.
