CONFIRMED: Kansas State guard Coleman Hawkins has achieved a remarkable milestone in college basketball, securing both the prestigious 2025 Bob Cousy Award and the Midseason Wooden Award, highlighting his outstanding performance on the court.

Kansas State senior guard Coleman Hawkins has emerged as one of college basketball’s elite talents this season, capturing two of the sport’s top individual honors.

On January 7, 2025, Hawkins was named to the Wooden Award Midseason Top‑25 list, recognizing his all-around excellence at guard — averaging strong scoring, rebounding, assists, steals, and shot-blocks that place him among the nation’s most versatile players .

Shortly thereafter, his playmaking and floor leadership earned him the 2025 Bob Cousy Award, distinguishing him as the premier point guard in NCAA men’s basketball .

This dual recognition underscores Hawkins’s dominant campaign in 2024–25, as he leads Kansas State with approximately 11.2 points, 7 rebounds, and nearly 100 assists—while also delivering top-tier defense with over 45 steals and notable shot-blocking .

A fifth-year transfer from Illinois, Hawkins has continued his upward trajectory this season, routinely delivering clutch performances—like a 26-point outing against Arizona State in the Big 12 tournament .

As the season unfolds, Hawkins is primed to appear on the final Wooden Award ballot and could well secure the Cousy Award, joining former K‑State standout Markquis Nowell (2023) in the program’s elite guard legacy .
