The wide receiver, known for his speed and toughness on the field, is now showing fans a softer, deeply compassionate side off the gridiron.
Brown made the announcement at a press conference hosted on the South Carolina campus, where he detailed his plans to construct a state-of-the-art facility that will serve as a safe haven for thousands of dogs in need. “This isn’t just about rescuing dogs,” Brown explained. “It’s about giving them a second chance, about love, care, and showing the world that these animals deserve more.”
The project, tentatively called “Jaylen’s Paws & Refuge,” will be located just outside Columbia and is expected to span several acres. The sanctuary will include veterinary clinics, recovery areas, outdoor play zones, and adoption suites designed to help dogs transition into new homes. It will also employ trained staff and volunteers committed to rehabilitation and rehoming efforts.
