June 4, 2025 Durham, NC Duke basketball standout Kon Knueppel, a projected top pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, has officially signed a multi-year endorsement deal with New Balance, the brand announced today. The agreement marks one of the most high-profile shoe deals of the upcoming draft class and signals New Balance’s continued push into the basketball market.
Knueppel, who shined during his freshman season at Duke with his elite scoring and high basketball IQ, reportedly met with multiple brands in Los Angeles this spring to discuss both NIL opportunities and long-term NBA partnerships. Ultimately, he chose New Balance for its growing presence in the league and its commitment to building a brand around him.
