The Ole Miss Rebels continue to lead the nation, holding steady at No. 1 in the latest USA TODAY Sports college baseball poll. With a dominant stretch of wins and a deep, talented roster, the Rebels have established themselves as the top team in the country heading into the postseason.

Their SEC rival, the Texas Longhorns, rise to No. 2 this week, fueled by an impressive late-season push. Texas has found its stride with strong pitching performances and a red-hot offense, positioning themselves as a serious threat to overtake the top spot.

North Carolina, Arkansas, and Oregon round out the top five, each continuing to prove they belong among college baseball’s elite. North Carolina’s consistency, Arkansas’ power, and Oregon’s balanced play make them all dangerous postseason contenders.

Ole Miss has built its success on a combination of veteran leadership, timely hitting, and one of the deepest pitching staffs in the nation. With momentum on their side, the Rebels are looking to carry their regular-season dominance into regional play and beyond.

The race to Omaha is heating up, and with teams like Texas, North Carolina, and Arkansas on their heels, Ole Miss knows the path to a national title won’t be easy. But for now, the Rebels remain on top  and they’re not looking back.
