In a stunning turn of events, Bowe Bentley, the nation’s top-ranked recruit for the Class of 2026, has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs, choosing them over powerhouse programs Tennessee and Alabama. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound quarterback from Celina, Texas, made his decision official after a series of official visits, including one to Athens from June 6–8, 2025.
Bentley, a four-star prospect, led Celina High School to a perfect 16–0 record and a Texas 4A state championship in 2024. During that season, he threw for 3,330 yards and 40 touchdowns while rushing for 933 yards and 16 touchdowns.
