In a significant boost to their roster, the Arizona State Sun Devils secured the commitment of Raleek Brown, a former five-star recruit and dynamic playmaker, who transferred from USC to ASU in December 2023. Brown, a standout at Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California, was ranked as the No. 25 overall recruit in the nation and the top all-purpose back in the 2022 class by Rivals. During his freshman year at USC, he showcased his versatility by rushing for 227 yards and three touchdowns, catching 16 passes for 175 yards and three touchdowns, and contributing significantly on special teams with 517 kickoff return yards. However, a position change to wide receiver in his sophomore year limited his production, prompting his decision to enter the transfer portal.
At Arizona State, Brown is expected to return to his natural position as a running back, where his agility and speed can be fully utilized.
