During the 2024–25 season, Uzan was instrumental in Houston’s impressive 35–5 record, culminating in a narrow 65–63 loss to Florida in the national championship game . He averaged 11.4 points, 4.3 assists, and 3.1 rebounds per game, earning second-team All-Big 12 honors . Notably, Uzan delivered clutch performances in the postseason, including a career-high 25 points in the Big 12 title game and 22 points in the Sweet 16 .
Uzan’s decision to return was influenced by his experiences during the NBA pre-draft process, where he participated in workouts with several teams, including the Golden State Warriors and Washington Wizards.
