Good News: Since Kobe Bryant in 2002, Jalen Williams is the Youngest Player to Get 25 Pionts, 10 Rebounds and 5 Assists With no Turnovers in a Conference Finals Game…

In a standout performance during Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals, Oklahoma City Thunder’s Jalen Williams etched his name into NBA history. The 24-year-old forward delivered an impressive stat line of 26 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists without committing a single turnover, leading the Thunder to a 118–103 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves and securing a 2–0 series lead.

Williams’ achievement places him in elite company. He becomes only the fourth player in NBA history to record at least 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists in a Conference Finals game without a turnover. The others to accomplish this feat are Shaquille O’Neal (2000), Kobe Bryant (2002), and Jayson Tatum (2024). Notably, Williams is the youngest to do so since Bryant in 2002 and the only player to achieve it in under 40 minutes of play.

Throughout the game, Williams showcased his offensive prowess, shooting 12-of-20 from the field and adding a steal to his stat line. His performance was instrumental in maintaining the Thunder’s momentum, especially when the Timberwolves narrowed a 24-point deficit to just 10 in the fourth quarter. Williams responded with a crucial three-pointer, helping to extend the lead and secure the victory.

This historic performance also bodes well for the Thunder’s championship aspirations. The previous three players who achieved similar stat lines in the Conference Finals—O’Neal, Bryant, and Tatum—all went on to win the NBA title in those respective years.

Williams’ journey to this point has been marked by growth and resilience. After facing criticism earlier in the postseason for inconsistent shooting, his Game 2 performance serves as a testament to his development and importance to the Thunder’s success. His ability to elevate his play in critical moments underscores his value to the team.
