BYU 2025 football schedule has been announced, detailing their upcoming games…

The BYU Cougars’ 2025 football schedule has been officially released, marking the team’s third season in the Big 12 Conference. The slate features a balanced mix of home and away games, including six home contests at LaVell Edwards Stadium and six road trips. The season kicks off on August 30 with a home opener against Portland State. Following that, BYU hosts Stanford on September 6, aiming to continue their strong non-conference performances.

The Cougars’ Big 12 schedule includes matchups against teams like West Virginia, Arizona, Iowa State, Texas Tech, TCU, and UCF. Notably, the Holy War rivalry game against Utah is scheduled for October 18 in Provo. This game is particularly significant as it marks the first time both teams will face each other as conference opponents since BYU joined the Big 12 in 2023.

BYU’s 2025 opponents include several teams that participated in bowl games the previous season, such as Iowa State, Colorado, East Carolina, TCU, Texas Tech, and UCF. The Cougars will also face Colorado, who edged them out for a spot in the conference championship game last season.

The schedule also features two bye weeks—September 13 and November 1—providing the team with opportunities to rest and prepare for the challenges ahead. With a mix of challenging conference games and competitive non-conference matchups, the 2025 season promises to be an exciting chapter in BYU’s football history.

As the season progresses, fans and analysts alike will be watching closely to see how BYU performs against its formidable opponents. The outcomes of these games will not only impact the team’s standing in the Big 12 but also contribute to the ongoing legacy of BYU football.
