2025 Football Schedule Announced: Florida has released its 2025 football schedule, outlining their season’s matchups…

The University of Florida has officially released its 2025 football schedule, featuring a challenging lineup of both non-conference and Southeastern Conference (SEC) opponents. The Gators will host six home games at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, commonly known as “The Swamp,” and will face a mix of traditional rivals and formidable newcomers throughout the season.
Florida’s season kicks off on August 30 with a home game against Long Island University (LIU), followed by another home matchup against the University of South Florida (USF) on September 6. These early games provide an opportunity for the Gators to establish momentum before entering the more demanding portion of their schedule.
The Gators’ first SEC game is on the road against LSU in Baton Rouge on September 13, a venue known for its challenging atmosphere. The following week, Florida continues its road stretch with a non-conference game against in-state rival Miami on September 20. After a bye week on September 27, the Gators return home to host Texas on October 4, marking the Longhorns’ first visit to Gainesville since 1939.
Continuing their SEC schedule, Florida travels to College Station to face Texas A&M on October 11, followed by a home game against Mississippi State on October 18. After another bye week on October 25, the Gators face Georgia in their annual rivalry game in Jacksonville on November 1. This neutral-site game remains a staple of Florida’s schedule and is anticipated to be a pivotal matchup in the SEC East standings.
The Gators’ November slate includes a road game at Kentucky on November 8 and another away game at Ole Miss on November 15. Florida then returns home for two consecutive games: hosting Tennessee on November 22 and concluding the regular season against Florida State on November 29. These final games are crucial for the Gators’ postseason aspirations and provide an opportunity to solidify their standing both within the SEC and nationally.
