BREAKING: Five-Star Guard Shocks Texas Longhorns With Decommit and Flip Commitment To Tennessee Over Kentucky and Georgia…

In a surprising turn of events, five-star guard Caleb Wilson has decommitted from the Texas Longhorns and announced his commitment to the Tennessee Volunteers, choosing them over other top programs, including Kentucky and Georgia.

Wilson, ranked as the No. 8 overall player and the top prospect from Georgia in the Class of 2025, had previously narrowed his choices to five schools: Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio State, and UCF. His decision to flip to Tennessee marks a significant win for the Volunteers and a notable loss for the Longhorns.

Standing at 6-foot-9, Wilson is known for his versatility on the court, capable of playing multiple positions effectively. His commitment is expected to bolster Tennessee’s recruiting class and enhance their competitiveness in the Southeastern Conference.

Wilson emphasized that his decision was guided by personal fit and his faith, stating, “I’m a guy who believes in God, and I hope he guides me into a decision that’s best for me. But, I’m never going to make a decision straight off of money” .
