In a significant development for college basketball, former Kentucky Wildcats center Aaron Bradshaw has officially transferred to Ohio State, marking a new chapter in his collegiate career. The 7-foot-1 freshman made the announcement on April 15, 2024, after entering the NCAA transfer portal and declaring for the NBA Draft earlier that month.
Bradshaw’s decision to leave Kentucky came in the wake of head coach John Calipari’s departure to Arkansas, which prompted several Wildcats players to reconsider their futures with the program. Despite being a top-five recruit in the 2023 class, Bradshaw’s freshman season was marred by a foot injury that sidelined him for the first seven games.
