BREAKING NEWS: Chloe Kitts Shocks Basketball World, Dumps South Carolina for Duke in Stunning Betrayal “It Was Always My Dream School”

In a move that has sent shockwaves through the college basketball community, standout forward Chloe Kitts has announced her decision to transfer from the University of South Carolina to Duke University. Kitts, who played a pivotal role in the Gamecocks’ recent successes, described the transfer as a fulfillment of a long-held aspiration, stating, “It was always my dream school.”

During her tenure at South Carolina, Kitts emerged as a key contributor. Notably, she recorded a triple-double against Ole Miss on February 28, 2025, with 16 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists, becoming only the eighth player in program history to achieve this feat.

Kitts’ decision to join the Blue Devils adds significant talent to Duke’s roster. Her performance against Duke on December 5, 2024, where she tallied 21 points and 11 rebounds, showcased her abilities on a national stage.

This transfer marks a significant shift in the women’s college basketball landscape, as Kitts transitions from a dominant South Carolina program to a Duke team on the rise.
