Kansas State Basketball just got a major offseason win. Five-star point guard  has officially withdrawn from the 2025 NBA Draft and confirmed his commitment to return to Manhattan for another season. The announcement is a huge boost for head coach Jerome Tang and signals that the Wildcats are ready to make serious noise in 2025.

Player,who dazzled with his speed, handles, and clutch play last season, was widely projected as an early NBA pick. But after weighing his options, he’s decided there’s more to accomplish in a K-State uniform.

 

“This is family,”  said. “We’ve got big goals here, and I’m coming back to help bring something special to this program and this fanbase.”

His return instantly positions Kansas State as a legitimate Big 12 contender. Known for his leadership and high basketball IQ, player will once again be the engine behind the Wildcats’ fast-paced, high-energy style of play.
