Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson has entered into a multi-year Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) agreement with Harbin Automotive, a Ford and Chevrolet dealership in Northwest Alabama. As part of this partnership, Simpson will receive a new Ford or Chevrolet truck every few months in exchange for promoting the dealership through meet-and-greets, social media posts, and potential advertising campaigns.

Simpson, a former five-star recruit from Alabama’s 2022 class, has shown promise on the field. In the 2023 season, he completed 11 of 20 passes for 179 yards and recorded a rushing touchdown, contributing to the Crimson Tide’s Southeastern Conference Championship victory over Georgia and their subsequent College Football Playoff appearance.

Expressing gratitude for the partnership, Simpson stated, “I am just so grateful to everyone at Harbin and truly consider them to be part of my team. I love my truck and am proud to have Harbin as a partner.”
