JUST IN: Kansas State No. 1 Overall Recruit Reaffirms Commitment, Cancels Rival Visit, Declares “Kansas Means Everything to Him” Despite Offers from Other …..

In a significant development for Kansas State University’s football program, five-star tight end recruit Linkon Cure has reaffirmed his commitment to the Wildcats. The 6-foot-6, 220-pound athlete from Goodland High School in Kansas had initially committed to K-State in June 2024, choosing the Wildcats over offers from 29 Power 4 schools, including Alabama, Oklahoma, and Michigan.

Cure was scheduled to visit the University of Oregon in November 2024 but canceled the trip due to a winter storm that closed interstate travel. He interpreted this event as a sign, stating, “God is sending a message!”
On National Signing Day, December 4, 2024, Cure officially signed with Kansas State, solidifying his commitment. Head coach Chris Klieman expressed his enthusiasm, noting that securing an in-state five-star recruit is a significant achievement for the program.

Cure’s decision to remain with Kansas State highlights the program’s growing appeal and the strong relationships fostered by the coaching staff. His commitment is expected to have a positive impact on the Wildcats’ performance in the coming seasons.
