Vandagriff, a former five-star recruit, transferred to Kentucky in December 2023 after spending three seasons with the Georgia Bulldogs.

During the 2024 season, Vandagriff started 11 games for the Wildcats, amassing 1,593 passing yards with 10 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
