NEWS UPDATE: Kentucky Wildcats 5-Star Quarterback Requests to Leave the Team After Feeling Misled by Fans and the Organization Despite His Commitment.

In a recent development, Kentucky Wildcats quarterback Brock Vandagriff has announced his retirement from football, citing feelings of being misled by fans and the organization despite his commitment. Vandagriff, a former five-star recruit, transferred to Kentucky in December 2023 after spending three seasons with the Georgia Bulldogs.

During the 2024 season, Vandagriff started 11 games for the Wildcats, amassing 1,593 passing yards with 10 touchdowns and eight interceptions. His performance was marred by inconsistency, leading to benchings in two games. A concussion sustained against Tennessee further sidelined him, and he did not participate in the season finale against Louisville.
