Major Breaking News: Significant Moves As Florida Gators Football reportedly In Prime Position to Land a Former 4 Star WR

The Florida Gators are reportedly in a prime position to secure the commitment of four-star wide receiver Naeshaun Montgomery from Miami Central High School. Recent predictions from 247Sports analysts suggest that Montgomery is leaning towards joining the Gators, especially after a successful official visit to Gainesville. During the visit, Montgomery expressed enthusiasm about working with Florida’s coaching staff and quarterback DJ Lagway, stating, “They’ve always been high, but it definitely put them up another notch.”

Montgomery is ranked No. 172 overall and No. 19 at his position nationally by the 247Sports composite. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently gives Florida a 76.4% chance of signing him, ahead of other programs like Miami, Penn State, and LSU. If Montgomery commits, he will join a talented group of receivers in Florida’s 2025 class, including five-star Dallas Wilson, who recently flipped from Oregon, and four-star Vernell Brown III.

Head coach Billy Napier’s aggressive recruiting strategy is positioning the Gators for a strong offensive lineup in the coming seasons. The potential addition of Montgomery would further bolster Florida’s receiving corps, providing quarterback DJ Lagway with another dynamic target.
